I have been asked to place instructions on "How" to carry out one or two functions on this forum, I shall place below instructions for "Attachments" "Images" and "Hyperlinks".
Attachments: -
If you're creating a thread on a message board that allows attachments, "Attachment" will be the second option listed on the posting page. This can be used to attach files from your computer and have them display in your thread when the topic is posted. For example, if you want to attach a picture of your pet, use the attachment feature to upload the image and a thumbnail image of your pet will be displayed at the bottom of your forum post. Members can then click on the thumbnail to see an enlarged image. You can submit one attachment per post with a maximum file size of 1MB.
Image insert, other methods maybe available.
You can also insert images into your post using the following tags: [/img] – Simply type the URL address (location) of your hosted image within the tags and it will appear in your post. Example:
To successfully present the image in your forum posting, it must currently be hosted by an image host (Photobucket, Flickr, etc). Also, be sure to use the "Direct URL" or "Direct Link" provided by the image host typically located in their image "share" options.
Hyperlink, this allows another web site or web page to be places in your thread.
You can include links within your posts by using the following tags: – Type the URL of a selected website within these tags to have a link appear in your post. Example:
proboards.com
Here, the proboards.com text links directly to the proboards.com website. When clicked, message board readers are brought to the linked website indicated within the tags.
Additionally, you can use these tags to have specific words within your post link to a website. As an example: ProBoards Free Forums – using this will cause the words "ProBoards Free Forums" to link to the ProBoards.com homepage.
If you are having trouble with one of these PM (Personal Message) me and I'll do what I can to help you out.
