From 20th December to 7th February Mapua wharf precinct will be pedestrian only unless your launching or retrieving a boat. For us that means we can no longer park opposite the Jellyfish Cafe. I'm not sure how this is to be inforced but you have been warned.

Having been to Mapua recently I still parked the bike in the usual place and there were other bikes already there. I did not see anyone enforcing the restricted parking but that does not mean nobody is.
If you have had a different experience please let us know.
