What do you want that is missing on your bike? If you were designing a bike from scratch what would you ensure you had? Here is a few things riders have told me & feel free to add your own dreams: A chain oiler that is integral to the bike and not an after market add-on Self-cancelling indicators A safety system that if the high bean blows increases the output of low beam automatically Too much to ask? The above have all featured on bikes up to 30 years ago!
I would add a docking station for a smart phone & attendant CPU in the system. Applications could be written to upgrade existing on-board software, downloaded to phone & transferred to bike electronic system. I'm no electronics boffin but I imagine it would be possible to have some security between download CPU & bike's computer system to ensure it wasn't being sabotaged. Bike's are getting increasingly sophisticated software & upgrades should be obtainable with the minimum of fuss.

Addendum: I have been informed that motorcycle manufacturers confine all software upgrades to authorised resellers. Apparently the software was available to a wider circle at one time but several enthusiasts remapped their engines incorrectly resulting in blown engines. They then tried to obtain compensation from the manufacturers!!
I was thinking more in terms of electronics controlling ancillary parts: lights, brakes etc. Anyone for a wireless throttle or clutch?
